Avoid temptation and prepare a selection vegetables and fruit to snack on through the day.

Junk food is a convenience it needs little to no preparation which is why it is often the first choice when choosing a snack.

However if you prepare your healthy snacks in advance they are just as convenient without been too heavy on the calorie count.

Doctors recommend that we have 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day and introducing them as snacks into your daily diet is a great way to achieve this.
