The perfect recipe after working out, pepper with tuna and scrambled eggs
Yesterday, after working out with my buddy gym, we decided to cook a healthy meal which was rich on proteins, antioxidants and vitamins. We just used ingredients that we had at home because we completely forgot about shopping (it is understandable when you are in the gym’s Jacuzzi) Anyway, we cooked pepper with tuna and scrambled eggs, and a salad as accompaniment.
Ingredients for red pepper with tuna and scrambled eggs:
- 2 peppers (we used red and green peppers)
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp. of olive oil
- A pinch of salt
This is a very easy recipe. You just need to dice the peppers, add them to a hot pan with olive oil and a pinch of salt, fried them for around 8 to 10 minutes. Then add the tuna, give it a few turns in the pan and lay the eggs in the pan. Stir until is cooked and remove from the heating.
Ingredients for the salad:
- Lettuce
- Baked chicken leg that I cooked the day before
- Diced ham
- Grated cheese
- Balsamic vinegar
- Olive oil
- Salt
The chicken’s skin is where most of the fat is concentrated, so remove it. Cut the chicken meat in small pieces and put in a ball. Add the ham and the lettuce. For the dressing we will use salt, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. As final detail, put a bit of grated cheese on top of the salad.
