Even the thought of exercise can sometimes feel exhausting and the thought of attending a class can sometimes be off putting. Aerobic classes are a lot like a classroom at school, the first two rows are always filled by the ones that want to be noticed by the teacher and give 100% whereas the back rows are haunted by those that get the giggles and are amused by the sweatbands worn by the teacher’s pets. Aerobic classes have lost their element of fun and who said working out couldn’t be fun.

Dance the Calories Off

One of the best ways to burn calories is by dancing. Not only do you decide the pace of your workout but it almost feels like a secret form of exercise as there can be a lot of enjoyment and socialising involved too.

Introduce the Fun back into exercise

One of the best dance classes I have attended has to be a Zumba Class it is fusion of Latin and world rhythm’s. Yes there is an element of twerking and winding but I guarantee that you won’t have laughed as hard in a class before. Zumba is designed for all ages and believe me when I say you certainly do not have to be able to dance to attend. Zumba works by mixing low intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. If you do not feel like you’re working your muscles hard enough you simply add the toning sticks to your routine and give them a good shack to the beat of the music.

Improve Stamina whilst socialising

By the end of the class you won’t believe how sweaty you have gotten as you have had the best time getting there. After just a few classes you won’t believe how different you feel, you will have increased your stamina, improved your cardiovascular system and started toning your arm, leg and abdominal muscles. Dancing is not only a great way to stay in shape but it is also a fantastic way to meet new people and get out of the house once a week. I would highly recommend a Zumba class to anyone that is looking to add the fun back into exercise.
