6 Eating Habits that Guarantee a Fit Body

Let me begin by being honest. Not every person’s body responds to a particular food in the same manner. You must have come across people who eat too much but still have skinny bodies. At the same times, there are those who are prone to gain weight for eating very little. So, why there is too much difference. The answer lies in different people’s tolerance capacity for the same kind of food. For example, one glass of milk may not cause any difference to one person. But the same drink can make someone fat.

Does, such an erratic behaviour of human body make it possible to generalise the right kind of food? The answer is no.

Don’t lose hope, because there is a light at the end of dark tunnel. There is a proper mechanism that makes human body do its work in the right way.

Here is the list of six eating habits, that if followed can make a person maintain a fit body.

1. Eat Frequently

Losing weight or burning extra fats, is not all about starving the body. A person just needs to synchronise its habits with body’s response. It is all about bringing the metabolism on its tracks and everything goes fine. The best way to utilise the body’s metabolic system is by eating frequently. If we don’t eat too much, our body thinks that it is starving and hence starts storing the fats. While eating after intervals, boosts the metabolic system and therefore all the food gets utilised leaving no fats to worry about.

2. Drink  a Lot of Water

You must have heard about drinking lots of water. Does it really make sense? Well, yes. Water not only speeds up metabolism but it also prevents craving for unhealthy snacks. Keeping the body hydrated is also necessary for the transportation of all the vital nutrients to each part of the cell. A body available with sufficient supply of water prevents the accumulation of toxins that can otherwise hinder the performance of body systems.


3. Try to Stay Away from Unhealthy Carbs

Unhealthy carbs are a significant reason behind layers of fats deposited beneath the skin. Try to fight your craving for cakes, pastries and specially French fries. If you are not on a mission to shed excessive pounds, then occasionally feasting upon the carbs is not such a bad thing. But eating carbs when you are following a strict fitness regime is not a good thing.

4. Eat More of Protein

Human body muscles are actually made up of protein. Even hair and nails have particular kind of amino acids in their composition. A proper body nourishment is almost incomplete without a healthy protein source. Try to include a good portion of the protein-rich food like chicken, meat, legumes, beans, and cereals. Pay particular attention to the way you cook this meal. It is better to use them in boiled form rather than fried one.

5. Eat Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

You are lucky enough, if you get to eat organic fruits and vegetables. If it is not possible then do eat fresh veggies and fruits. They are not only a good source of healthy carbs, but also offer a robust detox option. An excellent way to consume fruits can be by taking them in the form of juice. One glass of a fresh fruit juice in evening is the perfect detox for stomach.


6. Don’t eat before going to sleep

Make sure you have last meal at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed. A lack of physical activity may not facilitate the food digestion process in a proper manner. Further, don’t eat the food like rice, or fries for dinner.

Keeping such a check on your eating habits, can make you prevent unhealthy weight gain.
